LOCATION AND DATES
The FCCA Annual Conference will be held in the Fort Myers, Florida area on August 12 – 15, 2019. The exact location will be announced when registration opens.
Conference registration will open on Wednesday, May 1st @ 2 PM EST. An email will be sent to all active members advising that registration is open. We have capped registration at 380 and will institute a wait list, if needed.
The conference registration fees are listed below. Guest tickets for optional events will be available for purchase during the registration process.
The conference registration fee includes a reception on Monday evening, breakfast on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, and dinner on Thursday evening. Only presenters, paid members wearing conference name badges, or guests with purchased tickets, will be permitted to attend conference events, including meals.
The conference location is family friendly, so we encourage attendees to bring family members along to enjoy all the hotel has to offer.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
When organizing our conference, we have entered into signed contracts with the hotel and other vendors and under these contracts, we make monetary commitments. Therefore, cancellation policies described below applies not only to the conference registration fee, but any guest tickets purchased.
Conference registrations cancelled on or before May 24, 2019 will receive a full refund. If a registration is canceled on or after May 25, 2019, we will refund 50% of the registration fee. Registrations cancelled on or after June 15th will not be refunded.
If you cancel your registration, you cannot substitute another court employee in your place. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and if the conference is sold out, a wait list will be instituted. Any open spot will be offered to the members on the wait list in the order in which their registration was received.
If you wish to cancel your conference registration, please send an email to: email@example.com.
Once you have registered for the conference, an email confirmation will be sent to you that will include the hotel booking link. Please note, only conference registrants will be permitted to make hotel reservations under the FCCA room block. If you are not registered for the conference and make a hotel reservation under the FCCA room block, your room will be cancelled. Please do not share the links with non-confirmed attendees.
The FCCA has negotiated a lodging rate at the conference hotel at the government rate of $121/night, plus taxes. The $30 resort fee has been waived for anyone booking their lodging under the FCCA room block. There is a current glitch in the Hyatt reservation system which does not allow the hotel to remove the language about the fee from their website. They are working on the issue and it will be resolved prior to the conference. A limited number of rooms are reserved for attendees that would like to arrive before the conference or stay after the conference, at the government rate.
The closest airport is Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). The airport is approximately 16 miles from the hotel. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available to and from RSW. If you are planning on using these ride sharing services, you should download their apps before arriving in Florida. The car service at the hotel offers airport transfers for a fee. Shuttle services can also be booked in advance.
The hotel offers free self-parking and a complimentary shuttle to two local malls in the Fort Myers-Naples area. Uber and Lyft are popular in southwest Florida and are the most economical ways to get around.
Business/resort casual is suitable for all conference activities. It is recommended to bring a light sweater as meeting rooms can get chilly.
If you have any questions about the conference, please send your email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
