GETTING THERE
You can get here by plane, train or automobile.  San Diego International Airport services over 15 different airlines.  Amtrak operates from the historic Santa Fe Depot located in downtown San Diego.  Although Route 66 doesn't go to San Diego, you can use I5, I8 or I15.
GETTING AROUND
Traveling by car? Lyft and Uber both serve San Diego. If you would like to use public transportation, it can be done. The Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) provides bus services to San Diego and is fairly inexpensive.  The MTS also operates a light rail system.
THINGS TO DO
No matter what you like to do for fun in the sun, you will find it in San Diego.  There are aquariums and beaches, museums and parks, sports and zoos.  If you like to shop, visit the Gas Lamp Quarter!

WHERE TO EAT
Many restaurants in San Diego specialize in Cali-Baja, a style of cooking unique to San Diego which combines the use of fresh, local produce with flavors and cooking techniques developed in Mexico.
